About

Ian S. Topf

Ian S. Topf was admitted to the State Bar of Missouri in 1996 and to the State Bar of California in 2000. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for Southern California in 2000.

While in law school, Ian volunteered at the Domestic Violence Clinic at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and for Mid-Missouri Legal Services Corporation, where he represented underprivileged clients in civil litigation, primarily in the area of domestic relations.

In 2000, Ian worked as a Contact Counsel in San Diego, focusing on child support matters, for the San Diego District Attorney’s office. He later served in a general practice law firm representing clients in a wide range of cases, including family law matters, bankruptcy, general civil litigation and criminal defense.

Ian’s extensive professional relationships in the San Diego legal system offer a distinct advantage over attorneys who fear going to trial, even when their clients’ best interests require pursuing the case in court.
