Attorney Fees – Free Initial Consultation
We accept cases on a retainer fee, flat fee or contingency fee basis, depending upon the type of legal matter you have. Most forms of payment, including all major debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) are accepted.
Legal Service Voluntary Benefits Provider
(Metlife (formerly Hyatt) Legal Plans, ARAG, LegalEASE/Legal Access, Legal Club)
We also are a participating law firm/member of several legal insurance and prepaid legal plans. Please contact our office or your legal insurance provider to confirm the services covered by your plan.
Retainer Fee – The amount of fees you initially pay to handle to your legal matter depends on what we feel will cover our attorney fees for the duration of your case. Any and all fees you pay under a retainer fee agreement are deposited into an account from which we pay our firm as we earn those fees. Any unused portion remaining at the end of your case will be refunded to you.
The retainer fee we quote is not a guarantee that your case will only cost you that amount. It may coss more money and we reserve the right to charge you additional sums when necessary. Also, you are responsible for any out-of-pocket costs (expert fees, filing fees, notary fees, postage, copy costs, facsimile costs and travel expenses, if applicable).
Flat fee
This is the total attorney fee that our office charges you for our services. As with retainer fees, you are responsible for any out-of-pocket costs (expert fees, filing fees, notary fees, postage, copy costs, facsimile costs and travel expenses, if applicable).
Contingency fee
With this arrangement, we are entitled to a portion of the proceeds you receive from any settlement or judgment in your case. As with the other types of fee arrangements, you are responsible for any out-of-pocket costs (expert fees, filing fees, notary fees, postage, copy costs, facsimile costs and travel expenses, if applicable).
